First, you see how many quarters you can have, which is 2
65-50=15
Than you see how many dimes fits in 15¢, which is 1
15-10=5
And you can tell that there is only 1 nickel in 5¢

Therefore, there are 2 quarters, 1 dime, and 1 nickel in 65¢
