multiply both sides of the equation by 2
x= -5*.

multiply 2 by -5 to get -10
x= -10x


since -10x contains the variable to solve for, move it to the left side of the equation by adding 10x to both sides


x+ 10x = 0

add x and 10x to get 11x

11x=0


x=0
