Solve for s 2-2s=3/4s+13

Consolidate (group together) the s terms and then do the same thing to the constant terms:

-2s - (3/4)s = 13 - 2
                                                      11
Then (-2 3/4)s = 11, and s = ---------------- = -4 (answer)
                                                      -11/4
