David Lance Goines was a calligrapher, typographer, printing entrepreneur, and author, he uses “Let Sleeping Dogs Lie” in his book “The free speech movement” to show how he personally avoided the military service during Vietnam, to complain about the draft board, that was a committee that registered, classified, and selects men for compulsory military service, and selected him at that time.
