What is the answer to split 56 in the ratio of 3:4

First is to add the ratios 3:4
3+4=7
3/7= 0.43
4/7= 0.57

56 x 0.43 = 24
56 x 0.57 = 32

Therefore 3:4 is 24:32 which is 56.
