I don’t know for sure but the length is 40 and the width is 10.

Let W = width, and L = length.

L = 4W

A = LW

400 = (4W)(W)

400 = 4w^2

4W^2 = 400

W^2 = 100

W = 10

The width is 10 yd, and the length is 40 yd.
