If x = 6, then the value of 10x+46 is...
10*x+46 = 10*6+46 = 60+46 = 106
So the angle on the left is 106 degrees

If x = 6, then the value of 12x+14 is...
12*x+14 = 12*6+14 = 72+14 = 86
The angle on the right is 86 degrees

In summary so far, we have 
(10x+46) degrees change to 106 degrees
(12x+14) degrees change to 86 degrees

Adding up the two angles would lead to 106+86 = 192

The result is not 180 so the angles cannot be supplementary.
