The form of a linear equation is slope intercept form. Start by adding 3x to each side:
2y = 3x + 4
Now divide by 2:
y = 3/2x + 2
That's it!

y equal 7 over 2 because i add 3 to both sides then i simplify 4 plus 3 to 7 then i divided both sides by 2
