42-6=36
36 divided by 4= 9
By this point there are 9 inches on each side.
Take one nine and add three
Do this twice
So the problem should look like this
3+3=6 42-6=36 36 divided by 4= 9 9+3=12 9+3=12
Perimeter = 12+12+9+9=42
