If two rectangles have the same area, what do you know about the measures of their sides? Explain.

In this case, the rectangles have the same area so it means their length x wide is same.
That means if rectangle 1 has a longer length than rectangle 2, the width of rectangle 1 must be longer than rectangle 2 widths. They don't need to have same perimeter or width: length ratio.
