A group of English reformed Protestants in the 16 and 17 century are puritans. Their views on the family and the fifth commandment were also reflected in their intolerance for unorthodoxy.
Puritans wanted to purify the Church of England from practices of Catholic. They have their own belief about a unique convent, God had made with them.
