11/12 - 3/4? I don't really get math but I try my best so....

First convert both fractions into the least common denominator, so 3/4 can be multiplied by 3/3 (another way of writing 1) to get 9/12. Then, just subtract 9/12 from 11/12 and the answer is 2/12 or 1/6 in simplest form.
