Cardiosartan drug is included in angiotensin receptor blocker(ARB). This drug can bind to angiotensin receptor, prevent the real substrate to bind and activate the system. This will reduce activation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, causing vasodilatation and reduce of vasopressin that will eventually reduce the blood pressure.
