Motor neurons are to the _peripheral_ nervous system (PNS) as interneurons are to the _central_ nervous system (CNS).
The PNS also contains sensory neurons, in addition to motor ones. But interneurons are ONLY found in the CNS, which comprise the brain and spinal cord
