If f(x) = 3x + 2 and g(x) = 2x – 2, what is (f – g)(x)?

 (f-g)(x) so u want to see the answer like this ----  f(x) - g(x) So, f(x) = 3x+2  and  g(x) = 2x-2  (f-g)(x) = 3x+2-(2x-2)            = 3x+2-2x+2            = x+4 and that is how u do that.
