About 37 million to 40 million years ago, an anthropoid was discovered living in the areas in Africa. A researcher named Kay who studied the fossils and formed a geological data revealed patterns in the evolution of the monkeys and their migration into the new world. These New world monkeys evolved and spread forth in Carribean and Patagonia, and even in the Amazon Basin, but eventually, they became extinct due to the difference in climate and other geological impacts.
