The slope of the line is -4/3

8x + 6y = 12

6y = -8x + 12

Divide the equation by 6, 

y = -4/3x + 2

Now compare it with principle equation, y = mx + b

Where, Slope (m) = -4/3

In short, Your Answer would be: -4/3
