domain is the numbres you can use

find the domain of the combined fraction
remember we can't divide by 0 so set denomenator equal to 0 to find the restricted values

f(x) is denom
f(x)=0=x^2+x-12
0=(x-3)(x+4)
restricted values are x=-4 and 3

for g(x), the domain is al real number

so the domain for g(x)/f(x) is all real numbers except -4 and 3
