EXPLANATION:

To find the slope we must use the following formula:

[tex]m=\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}[/tex]

Now we must identify at the given points which correspond to x and which to y; and then we must replace them in the slope formula;

Points: ( 5, -3) and (10, -6)

x1 y1 x2 y2

Now we replace;

[tex]\begin{gathered} m=\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1} \\ m=\frac{-6-(-3)}{10-5} \\ m=\frac{-3}{5} \\ \text{ANSWER: The slope is m=}\frac{-3}{5} \end{gathered}[/tex]
