If a car costs $7,800 and its percent of depreciation is 45%, what is the amount of depreciation?

we have that

100%-45%=55%=55/100=0.55

therefore

Multiply $7,800 by the factor of 0.55

$7,800*0.55=$4,290

Find out the difference

$7,800-$4,290=$3,510

the answer is $3,510
