f(x) = -5x -4

g(x) = x^2 + 3

To find (f/g)(x) , simply divide both functions:

[tex](f/g)(x)=\frac{-5x-4}{x^2+3}[/tex][tex](f/g)(x)=-5x^{1-2}-4/3[/tex][tex](f/g)(x)=-5x^{-1}-4/3[/tex]
