Let f(x) = -5x – 1 and g(x)=x2- 3.

Find (fog)(1).

Remember that

(fog)(x)=f(g(x))

so

f(g(x))=-5(x^2-3)-1

(fog)(1).=f(g(1))=-5(1^2-3)-1=-5(-2)-1=9

therefore

f(g(x)
