Hobbes State of Nature is solitary, poor, brutish,nasty and short. There is always struggle between men. It is an absolute Anarchy.

Locke's State of Nature is based on peace, goodwill, mutual assistance and self preservation. The men inorder to bring peace, enters into social contract, leaves behind state of nature, surrenders certain rights to have their right to life, liberty and property.
