For any function f, is f(3x) = 3•f(x) always true? Explain.

No, it's not. Take f(x)=[tex] x^{2} [/tex] then f(3x)=9[tex] x^{2} [/tex] but 3.f(x)=3[tex] x^{2} [/tex]. So they are not equal!
