Distance of Foci = c

Then,

c = 4

As c^2 + b^2 = a^2

And, b = 3

Then us will have:

a^2 = 4^2 + 3^2

a^2 = 16 + 9

a^2 = 25

a = 5


The equation of ellipse to this question is:

x^2 / a^2 + y^2/b^2 = 1

Then,

x^2 / 25 + y^2 / 9 = 1
