If the satellite goes too slow:

  • It will crash into it's surrounding things it's orbiting.
  • It would not go forward enough due to pull of gravity.
  • Gravity will pull it back to Earth.
  • The satellite could be knocked or moved closer or farther from the object it is orbiting.

If the satellite goes too fast:

  • It will eventually fly away.
  • It can go forward soo fast.
  • It would go too fastly that gravity can't retain in an orbit.
  • The satellite's inertia would carry it off into space.
