Terms are separated by subtraction (-) and or addition (+) signs. As you can see there is an addition sign, so it splits the expression into 2 terms.

If it were something like this: 2x/4+7-9. It would be 3 terms. Remember the subtraction signs and addition signs seperate the terms from each other.

Final answer 2 terms.
