A rectangle is 8cm longer than twice the width. the perimeter of the rectangle 88cm. find the detentions of the rectangle

Let, width = x

Length = 2x+8

Perimeter, 2(l+b) = 88

88 = 2(2x+8+x)

88 = 6x+16

6x = 72

x = 12

So, 2x+8 = 2(12)+8 = 32

So, the dimensions are 32 * 12 cm
