A train travels 90 kilometers in 1 hours, and then 60 kilometers in 3 hours. What is its average speed

Average speed = (total distance) / (total time to cover the distance)

                       = (90km + 60km) / (1hr + 3hr)

                       =       (150 km)   /   (4 hr)

                       =          37.5 km/hr      .
