A pattern I’ve seen that every few years or so a new virus or disease emerges and kills a bunch or people or almost an entire population. I would say the renaissance reflects most because they had a lot of diseases and different views in things such as people and politics just like our time period. The only difference would be we now have the technology to try and fix it while the other times periods had to reply on nature and the human body because they didn’t have the medicine we have now.
