Plasma sterilization utilizes low temperature hydrogen peroxide gas plasma within a chamber to kill all living microorganisms on medical and dental equipment, including bacteria, spores, viruses and fungi. When vaporized hydrogen peroxide is added to the chamber, equipment within the enclosure become sterile.
