Answer:

Macromolecules (i.e. Polymers) which are made of Micromolecules (i.e. Monomers).

There are 4 Basic types of Macromolecules

  • Protein
  • Carbohydrate
  • Lipids
  • DNA

Monomers are the simplest basic unit structures. Monomers of protein are amino acids, Monomers of Carbohydrates are Monosaccharides, Monomers of Lipids are Glycerol/Fatty acids, Monomers of DNA are nucleotides.
