Why do we need Laws in Society?

Laws are meant to protect you and others, and create balance in society. The criminals get punished and the good citizens get rewarded. Without laws there would be chaos and injustice. Laws also abide by morals, killing is wrong so there are laws to protect the rights of the victim and laws to make sure the killer is punished... I hope this helps
