Use the rules of indices

When they are dividing we subtract the exponents provided the bases are the same.

Since the bases are the same,

(2/3)^5 ÷ (2/3)¹

Will be

(2/3)^5-1

= (2/3)⁴

= 16/81

Hope this helps.
