f(5) = 3x(5)^2 - 5 = 3x25 - 5 = 75 - 5 = 70;
f(4) = 3x(4)^2 - 5 = 3x16 - 5 = 48 - 5 = 43;
f(x) + g(x) = 3[tex] x^{2} -5 + \sqrt{x-5} +2 = x^{2} + \sqrt{x-5} -3.[/tex]
