[tex](-2x+2)^2 [/tex]
We know that:
[tex]\left(a+b\right)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2[/tex]
So:
[tex]=\left(-2x\right)^2+2\left(-2x\right)\cdot \:2+2^2[/tex]
Now:
[tex]=\left(-2x\right)^2-2\cdot \:2x\cdot \:2+2^2[/tex]
We apply the law of exponents and solve, so we get:
[tex]=4x^2-8x+4[/tex]
