Well first we can try to find the odd integers 

1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11

2 consecutive odd numbers that add up to 12

1 + 3 don't work

3 + 5 doesn't either

5 + 7 = 12

7 + 9 doesn't work

9 + 11 doesn't work

So 5 and 7 are the 2 consecutive odd integers.
