Solve the equation for x. 1/4 (2x + 8) = −16

1/4 (2x+8)= -16

•Multiply both sides of the equation by 4

2x + 8= -64

•Move constant time the right side and change it’s sign

2x = -64 -8

•Calculate the difference

2x = -72

•Divide both dudes by 2

X= -36
