Simplify the expression below. 1/2 • 6+ 9 - (18÷6)

First, solve within the parentheses. 18/6=3. Now solve the multiplication and division 1/2x6=3. The equation is now 3+9-3. Add and/or subtract from left to right. 3+9=12. 12-3=9. The answer is 9.
