The Pax Romana was similar to the Age of Pericles because both ages experienced a renaissance in literature and arts just like how Pericles made Athens as the center of culture and arts. Just like the Age of Pericles, Pax Romana was a state of progress and expansion because Augustus was able to conquer lands as well, and at the same time create a lot of temples and houses.
