In math, the median in a group of values is the value that is closest to the center of the group when the values are organized from least to greatest.

For example, in the group [50, 51, 53, 56, 67], 53 would be the median, because it is in the middle of the group.

Line your data, or numbers, from least to great.  The median is the middle number.  If there are two middle numbers, you need to find the average of those two numbers by finding their sum and dividing by 2.  I hope this helps!
