What is the difference between being in love and loving someone?

I'm going to answer this question from a philosophical stand point. Being in love, would infer to being in a romantic relationship. Loving someone, would infer that you love that "someone". Not necessarily romantically but just that you care for that person.

This is just my opinion.

love is a feeling you have. Loving someone is how you show the person you love them
