A population is growing at an annual rate of 1.2%. Find the rate of growth per decade.

the population's annually growing rate is = 1.2%

and in 1 decade the no. of years is 10 .

so ,

in 10 years the population will grow u
= 10×1.2% = 12%

hence the rate of growth per decade is 12% of the population .
