what type of heat transfer is a heated pot??

It depends on how the pot is being heated:

If the pot is being heated on a stove, it would be conduction or radiation, depending on if it's an electric or gas stove, respectively.

If the pot is being heated from the inside by...let's say water, for example. The water would heat up using convection, which in turn would heat up the pot around it.
