[tex] x^2-36\not =0\\x^2\not =36\\x\not =-6 \wedge x\not =6\\\\D_f:x\in\mathbb{R}\setminus\{-6,6\} [/tex]

Interval notation:

[tex] D_f:x\in(-\infty-6)\cup(6,\infty) [/tex]
