Hey there!

Molar mass NaCl = 58.44 g/mol

Number of moles:

n = M * V

n = 1.75 * 0.500

n = 0.875 moles of NaCl

Therefore:

1 mole NaCl --------------- 58.44 g

0.875 moles -------------- m

m = 0.875 * 58.44 / 1

m = 51.135 g of NaCl
