Ambiguous genitalia means genetically, anatomically, hormonally disparate from female or male. During the 1960s, implementing physical and social norms was focused. Genital Reconstruction Surgery and Hormone Therapy were medical approaches used as treatment for the intersex ( individuals whose sex is ambiguous ).
