Kuiper airborne observatory witnessed a BIRTH of the stars in 1977.
Its flight from Perth, Australia lead to the discovery of
the nine rings of Uranus. Scientists also exposed embryonic stars hidden within
dust clouds. Embryonic stars are also called protostars, stars that being born
from a dense, interstellar cloud yet to sustain nuclear fusion.
