The equation would be 35x +10 = 150
35x =140 (subtraction property)
x = 4
Answer: she worked for 4 hours

Hi there,
From what I can understand from your question,
35x + 10x= $150
45x= $150
x= $150 / 45
  = 3.333333 hrs
  = 3 1/3 hrs
