The question is given as

[tex]\frac{2x^2-5x+8}{x+4}[/tex]

Perform long division to find the quotient and the remainder

Start with 2x^2 divided by x to get : 2x^2+4

Subtract 2x^2+8x from 2x^2-5x to get -13x+8

Divide -13x +8 by x+4 to get -13 then multiply -13 by x+4 to have -13x-52

perform subtraction of -13x -52 from -13x +8 to get the remainder as 60

The solution is : 2x -13 remainder 60

Answer : A . 60
